Jenn Johnson

Jenn Johnson is a registered massage therapist living on unceded Secwepemc territory in British Columbia, Canada.

She works in at Resolve Health in Kamloops, BC, a multidisciplinary clinic with a focus on pelvic health and chronic pain.

Like many clinicians, Jenn’s life and practice were forever changed after being introduced to the work of Butler and Moseley and she is now passionate about educating patients about pain and the nervous system.

Jenn is especially drawn to working with menstrual and pelvic health and understanding the cultural and systemic factors that contribute to pain in particular populations.

In her spare time, Jenn is a writer of poetry, fiction, and essays, and has several literary magazines publications under her belt. She is thrilled to be working with PainChats as a writer and editor.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A WEBSITE

We do claim that this website has some useful information for you to learn about pain, why it persists and the things that you can do and know that can help it change over time. But it’s still only a website, even if it’s a good one. So we have to make sure you know that text, graphics, images and other material here is for informational purposes only. Like it is on WebMD. Only we hope that we don’t make you more worried about your pain. The information on this website is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, opinion, diagnosis or treatment. We are very careful to make sure we write high quality information, but even the best online information can’t ask you specific questions about your condition. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health care provider about your medical conditions (or print out the page you’re interested in and ask them to explain it). We hope you can access better care than Dr Google and you don’t have to rely on us.
